CURRENT CAMPAIGN
GIVEBACK 2026
SUPPORTING COOK ISLANDS SPCA
We’re raising funds to support the Cook Islands SPCA, before heading over to carry out hands-on improvements to their shelter.
THE CAMPAIGN
What We’re Doing

This year’s Giveback is focused on supporting the Cook Islands SPCA, an organisation doing vital work caring for stray, abandoned, and vulnerable animals.
We’re raising funds to help improve their facilities, before travelling over in June to complete essential building work and upgrades as part of our Giveback Day.
“There are some really clear areas where we can step in and make a difference. Being able to get on-site and improve the shelter in a practical way is what this is all about.”
Dan Paltridge
Red LBP Director

THE IMPACT
Where Your Support Goes

Funds raised will go directly to the Cook Islands SPCA, supporting the ongoing care of the animals and helping improve their facilities where needed.
The SPCA will allocate funds where they’re most needed, with the Red LBP team contributing their time on-site to carry out practical improvements during the Giveback Day.

Your donation will:
• Support food, medical care, and vet supplies for animals
• Contribute to the ongoing operation of the shelter
• Support improvements to facilities where needed
GIVEBACK DAY
Getting on the Tools

As part of the annual conference, the Red LBP team will travel to Rarotonga and spend the day working on-site at the shelter.
This will include hands-on building work and upgrades to improve functionality, safety, and overall conditions.
This is where the Giveback comes to life, not just through funding, but through doing the work.
“Every bit of support goes toward something real. It’s not just a donation, it directly helps improve the conditions for the animals and supports the work being done on the ground.”
Al Blewett
Red LBP Inspector for Bay of Plenty South

ABOUT THE PARTNER
Cook Islands SPCA

CARING FOR
ANIMALS IN NEED
The Cook Islands SPCA cares for stray, abandoned, and vulnerable animals across the island, providing shelter, food, and ongoing support.
Their work focuses on improving animal welfare, rescuing animals in need, and helping rehome them into safe, long-term environments.

SMALL TEAM,
BIG RESPONSIBILITY
The organisation is run by a small team of dedicated volunteers who manage everything from daily care and shelter operations through to animal welfare callouts and vet support.
With limited resources and no large-scale funding, they rely on practical support and community involvement to continue their work.

POWERED BY
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The Cook Islands SPCA relies heavily on donations, volunteers, and local support to operate, from funding essential care through to providing supplies and equipment.
Every contribution, big or small, helps them continue rescuing animals and improving conditions for those in their care.
